Role in the Community

The foundation is named for pianist Yin Yin Huang 黃煐媖 and appears in the corpus as an organizer of Taiwanese American musical life in Southern California:

  • TAHS record 104. Two Cranes International Music Festival (雙鶴國際音樂節) documents the foundation hosting the Two Cranes International Music Festival in Pasadena, CA, 8/3–15/2017.
  • Huang herself is profiled in TAHS Who’s Who record 65. Yin Yin Huang 黃煐媖 (2018).
  • Community coverage of the 2-28 77th-anniversary memorial concert (2024-02-28, 南加州台灣人影音頻道, archived in articles/taiwanjustice-net/2025/20250517150428_…紀念音樂會…_ff4731d4f51b100d.md) lists pianist 黃煐媖 performing 《龍舞》 and appearing in the 和諧三重奏 premiere of 《心路歷程》 and 《毫無畏懼》.

HOLD: the same concert write-up names the trio’s pianist once as 「黃煐煐」 vs. 「黃煐媖」 elsewhere — likely a typo but held, not auto-merged. Note also the unrelated Paraguayan foreign minister 阿塞維多 (Acevedo) appearing in news articles; not the foundation’s namesake.

2026-09-20 re-check: corpus re-grep (黃煐媖 / Acevedo Music) returned only the records already cited above (the 2024 concert piece appears twice, as a 2024 and a 2025 repost of the same write-up) — no new absorbable facts.

2026-09-21 re-grep (黃煐媖 / Acevedo): same hit set (the 2024 concert write-up appears twice, as 2024 and 2025 reposts, both cited) — nothing new absorbable.

2026-09-22 re-grep (黃煐媖 / Acevedo Music): same hit set (65-yin-yin-huang, concerts104, index, 2024+2025 concert reposts) — nothing new absorbable. (deepen-x 09220400-10: re-verified again with 雙鶴 added to the grep — no additional records.)

2026-09-23 re-grep (黃煐媖 / Acevedo, DEEPEN-X slice 09221200-21): same hit set (65-yin-yin-huang, concerts104, index, 2024+2025 concert reposts, plus the unrelated Paraguayan-minister Acevedo news piece already under HOLD) — nothing new absorbable.
