The Taiwanese American Professional Society (TAPS) is a Seattle-area organization serving Taiwanese American young professionals, primarily second-generation Taiwanese immigrants. The organization hosts one to two events per month, including regular social dinners (JiaBum), happy hours (LimJiu), and outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, and skiing. Beyond social networking, TAPS also engages in community service through educational talks, career and academic counseling, high school scholarships, and charitable activities. Within its first ten months of founding, TAPS grew to over 300 members with 40–80 attendees per event, supported by the Taiwanese Association and Taiwan Center. The organization aims to expand its reach to young couples and families.
