The Taiwanese Association of America Boston (波士頓台灣同鄉會) is the Boston-area chapter of the Taiwanese Association of America (TAA, 全美台灣同鄉會), the national umbrella organization serving Taiwanese American communities across the United States. The chapter serves the greater Boston, Massachusetts region.
Role in the Community
- 前身脈絡（TAA 成立前的波士頓台灣人組織）：1965-10-29/30 麥迪遜「台灣人領袖聯合大會」（Formosa Leadership United Congress，籌組 UFAI 前身）已有 Boston Taiwanese Association 代表蕭信一（Sin-I Hsiao）出席（[[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/ourjourneys81-eng|Our Journeys #81 EN]]，蘇昭明回憶）；1966-06-18 費城合併談判九地區代表中波士頓仍由蕭信一出席。1970-06-01 美東台灣同鄉會等合併為全美台灣同鄉會（TAA）時，美東會波士頓支會改組為 TAA 波士頓分會（[[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/ourjourneys300-eng|Our Journeys #300 EN]]，大紐約分會沿革）——分會源流可上溯至 1960 年代校園時代的波士頓台灣人組織。
- 創始分會：據吳木盛《全美台灣同鄉會》memoir（[[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/ourjourneys76|Our Journeys #76]]），波士頓分會（當時負責人郭清江）是 TAA 全國會 28 個創始分會之一，屬 1970 年前後留美校園台灣同鄉會浪潮。1978 年底 Boston 同鄉爭取下，《望春風》雜誌自 Houston 遷至 Boston，1979-01-15 起在波士頓以鉛字排印、藝術家設計封面後復刊（同memoir）——分會早期與同鄉媒體史直接相連。
- 1977年：張啟典擔任波士頓台灣同鄉會會長，並主辦第8屆美東台灣人夏令會於羅德島布朗大學（Brown University）舉行，為美東夏令會首次在美國大學校園舉辦，約四百多人參加（[[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/ourjourneys338|Our Journeys #338]]）。

- 二二八紀念推動：2021年「北美洲海外台灣人二二八紀念活動」線上系列（約1000多人次參與）共同主辦方之一，閉幕式由會長蔡幸君與全美台灣同鄉會會長陳桂鈴共同總結（30）。
- 二二八75周年（2025）「二二八人權影展」總策畫單位（台灣正義網活動紀錄）。
- 2019-12-14：波士頓分會在哈佛大學（Harvard Univ./Boston）主辦「民主傳承 – 海外台灣人的故事 / The Stories of Taiwanese Americans and Democratic Taiwan」故事收集活動（[[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/25-the-stories-of-taiwanese-americans-and-democratic-taiwan-e6-b0-91-e4-b8-bb-e5|Our Journeys #25]]），屬海外台灣人故事收集計畫的地方場次。
