The Taiwanese Student Society (TSS), known in Chinese as 明尼蘇達大學台灣學生會, is a registered student organization at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities (UMTC) campus. It was founded in June 2012, succeeding the earlier Taiwan Undergraduate Student Association (TUSA), and expanded its scope to serve both undergraduate and graduate students from Taiwan and/or of Taiwanese ancestry. According to the organization’s GopherLink directory listing (#2369), TSS describes itself as a cultural student organization that aims to strengthen interactions and cultural understanding between the Taiwanese, APIDA, and the larger campus community through events and inter-organizational collaboration.
