  • Appears in an NTU Mathematics Department oral history: in 謝伯芳’s recollection of the mid-1950s (a cohort of only four students), 許振榮 was one of two Taiwanese 副教授 in a department of five 正教授 — 東京帝大畢業的系主任沈璿、京都帝大畢業的施拱星、and 東北帝大畢業的許振榮 — 「兩個人後來都有來美取得博士」 (TJJ 台大數學系回憶).
