Role in the Community

  • Left a first-person memoir in the movement record: 「留美50年的奮鬥經歷–來自台灣的周重吉博士分享」, his own account of fifty years in the United States, published in the TAH story corpus on 2016-11-22 ([[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/mystories485|TAH My Stories #485, 2016-11-22]]). The memoir’s “50 years in the US” framing (≈1966 arrival) is broadly consistent with the 1968 Baylor Ph.D. date in the employment table, but the exact arrival year is not pinned — HOLD: memoir framing (留美50年 as of 2016) vs no recorded arrival date.
  • His philanthropy has its own record layer: the foundation he founded in 1989, 「美國美溪慈善基金會」 (Wellbrook Foundation), is documented as a subject in the TAH story corpus ([[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/wellbrook-foundation|TAH #44, Wellbrook Foundation, 2016-11-22]]; Wellbrook Foundation).
  • Own encyclopedia record in the movement archive: TAH #1406 profile (2016-11) ([[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/whoswho1406|TAH #1406, 2016-11]]).
