Role in the Community

  • Own community record: 2093. Dr. Wen Y. Chen 陳文淵醫師 (TAH encyclopedia entry; St. Louis-area ophthalmologist, Illinois Eye Specialists / SureVision Eye Centers since 1990).

  • HOLD: subject links on 1981) and 62. Chen Wen Chen Scholarship Award 1981 are auto-linked to this page, but those records are about 陳文成教授 (Prof. Wen-Chen Chen, the 1981 台大 murder case) — a likely 陳文淵 vs 陳文成 name collision; no body-text mention of 陳文淵 found, so not absorbed.

  • 2026-09-21 re-check: corpus grep again returns subject-list auto-links in Our Journeys 19 (在矽谷創業臺美人), Our Journeys 74 (NATMA 1983–1990) and Our Journeys 313 (東田納西台灣同鄉會) — machine-generated “mentioned in this record” subject stubs with no body-text mention of 陳文淵; nothing absorbable.

  • 2018-07 — listed among the 台大校友 who protested 南加州台大校友會 inviting 管中閔 to give a keynote at its annual dinner; the alumni list records him as 陳文淵（植病）, matching this page’s National Taiwan Univ. Plant Diseases and Pests degree — the only corpus hit with a body-text (non-subject-list) mention and a corroborating department match (TJJ 報導, 2018-07-20).

  • 2026-09-23 re-check (slice 09221100-31): corpus hits remain the own record plus machine-generated subject-list auto-links (Our Journeys 19/74/313-eng, milestones 22, 1981 獎學金 record) with no body-text mention of 陳文淵; the 2018 台大校友抗議 record stays the only body-text hit. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-09-24 re-check (slice 09230600-22): ZH-body grep (陳文淵) returns only the own record, index, and the 2018 台大校友抗議 article already wikilinked above; EN-grep hits are subject-list auto-links only. Saturated; 陳文成 HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-09-25 re-check (DEEPEN-X slice 09240600-26): fresh ZH+EN grep (陳文淵 / Wen Y. Chen) of works/+articles/ returned the identical hit set (own record whos-who-2093; Our Journeys 19/74-eng/313-eng subject-list auto-links; milestones 22; 1981 獎學金 record) — ZH-body grep inside those files finds no mention of 陳文淵; the 2018 台大校友抗議 article (陳文淵（植病）) stays the sole body-text hit, already wikilinked. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-09-26 re-check (slice 09250900-12): fresh ZH+EN grep (陳文淵 / Wen Y. Chen) returned the identical hit set — own record whos-who-2093 plus machine-generated subject-list auto-links (Our Journeys 19/74-eng/313-eng, milestones 22, 1981 獎學金 record); no new body-text mention of 陳文淵. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-09-26 re-check (slice 09260317-17): fresh ZH+EN grep (陳文淵／Wen Y. Chen) returned the identical hit set — own record whos-who-2093, machine-generated subject-list auto-links (Our Journeys 19/74-eng/313-eng, milestones 22, 1981 獎學金 record), and the 2018 台大校友抗議 article (陳文淵（植病）) as the sole body-text hit, already wikilinked. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-10-10 re-check (slice 10081500-6): fresh ZH+EN grep across works/articles/sources/events/topics returned the identical hit set — ZH hits: own record whos-who-2093, sources index, and the 2018 台大校友抗議 article (sole body-text hit, already wikilinked); EN hits: subject-list auto-link stubs only (“mentioned in this record”, no body mention). No new material. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-10-11 re-check (slice 10101100-30): fresh ZH+EN grep across all 5 corpus dirs returned the identical hit set — ZH body-text hits: own record whos-who-2093, works/index.md listing, and the 2018 台大校友抗議 article (陳文淵（植病）, already wikilinked); EN hits are subject-list auto-link stubs only (incl. Our Journeys 292-eng, checked: no body mention). No new material. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-10-12 re-check (slice 10110800-32): fresh ZH+EN grep (陳文淵 / Wen Y. No new material. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 name-collision HOLD unchanged.

  • 2026-10-13 re-check (slice 10121000-15): fresh ZH+EN+surname grep (陳文淵 / Wen Y. Chen / 文淵) across all 5 corpus dirs returned the identical hit set, plus two new 2025-06 TJJ articles matched only on 王文淵 (台塑總裁 Wang Wen-yuan) — a different person, name-substring false positive, not absorbed. SKIP-content: verified-saturated; 陳文成 (1981) and 王文淵 (2025) name-collision HOLDs unchanged.
