Felix Fan is a celebrated young cellist whose eclectic music-making and leadership reflect a 21st Century sensibility rare among musicians. He is a musical explorer whose journey takes him from a performance of Tan Dun’s music one day to a Devorak Concerto the next.

  • Performed at TUF (台灣人聯合基金會)「台灣名家演奏系列」as the series’ cellist, alongside 林昭亮、陳慕融、蘇顯達、陳泰成、陳毓襄、葉綠娜、楊文信、陳建安 etc. — the series, started 1992 with 吳澧培’s sponsorship, opened with 胡乃元’s violin recital. See TUF 藝文系列 record.
  • 1990 — at 南加州《台灣文化之夜》(世紀廣場大飯店, ~700 同鄉出席), the presidential-award-winning 范雅志 performed 聖桑《天鵝》and the first movement of 蕭泰然’s new cello concerto with the composer himself accompanying — the piece’s unofficial first performance ( 林衡哲, 2017).
