劉佳欣，生於台灣彰化。大學就讀國立台北藝術大學，主修鋼琴。1997年與小提琴家劉慧婷於彰化縣立中心舉辦「彈琴弄弦彰化情」聯合音樂會;1998年於台北十方樂集與國立台北藝術大學舞蹈廳舉辦「聆情品音共賞欣」鋼琴獨奏會。2001年以論文題目「德國文學家E.T.A. Hoffmann在浪漫時期音樂中的角色」獲得台北藝術大學碩士文憑。2002年來美後就讀於California State University, Los Angeles主修鋼琴，並於2004年獲得鋼琴演奏學位。目前為加州音樂教師(MTAC)與英國皇家音樂協會(ABRSM)會員。
