Role in the Community

The corpus holds his TAH Who’s Who encyclopedia record #763 (published 2016-01-17) as the bibliographic record of his career: 01. His corpus-documented role bridges the U.S. engineering career (Gibbs & Hill, Foster Wheeler) and service back to Taiwan’s nuclear research establishment (行政院原子能委員會核能研究所顧問).

Two community appearances were recovered from the archived TAH.org posts (2026-10-08, deepen-X slice 10070700-21), which raise his record above the press-kit biography:

  • TACEC 2011 speaker (2011/07). At the 美東台灣人夏令會 he gave the lecture 「從日本核災來探討世界各國及台灣的核能發電」, arguing that Taiwan’s plants could not withstand a Fukushima-scale quake and tsunami, that their placement in densely populated areas made evacuation impossible, and that no permanent safe repository for waste exists — so the fundamental remedy was alternative energy and a 非核家園. The corpus records him as “哥倫比亞大學耐震結構工程博士,曾在全世界各地設計多家核電廠”, i.e. his engineering authority was deployed on the anti-nuclear side of the community agenda. TACEC 2011
  • 西溫莎台美人協會 cultural festival (1999/11/20). In 楊遠薰’s account of the 溫莎區台美協會 “A Short Trip to Taiwan” open house at the West Windsor senior center, 詹春孟 and 江正吉 ran the fortune-telling booth (抽簽卜杯、解籤語) that drew the largest crowd of the evening — a grassroots volunteer role in the association’s community-building work among American neighbours. 20

No date or age conflicts arise between these and the Who’s Who table.
