Role in the Community

Corpus memoirs place 許清煌 at the center of 1970s–80s Southern California Taiwanese community institution-building:

Corpus re-check 2026-09-22 (deepen-x slices 09210700-26, 09220400-5) and 2026-09-23 (deepen-x slice 09221200-17): fresh grep re-confirmed ourjourneys244 / ourjourneys212 / whos-julius-shu / 耆老講座 tag page as the only substantive corpus hits; facts above match the memoirs verbatim (memoir confirms 西區生活座談會 membership was a later addition, not founding — as stated). Verified-saturated; no conflicts found.
