  • 2016-05 — profiled in the TAH Who’s Who encyclopedia ( 2016-05).
  • 2018-06-25 — sworn in for California’s 29th Senate District, the first woman Taiwanese American state senator in California history (see From the record).
  • 2018-07-20 — featured in the TAH story corpus “Ling Ling Chang in California” (Ling Ling Chang 張齡玲 in California) — HOLD: that record’s title spells 張齡玲 vs 張玲玲 elsewhere; name-spelling conflict, not auto-merged.
  • 2020-06-27 — re-featured in the corpus as “Ling Ling Chang 張玲玲 in S. CA” (Ling Ling Chang 張玲玲 in S. CA).
  • 2018-06-25 (full-text record) — the TJJ English Pages record carrying the full article text (not just the headline snapshots cited above) describes the swearing-in in detail: Chang won the seat as top choice of a tri-county district in a mid-term recall election driven by objections to the new gas tax, and California Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye administered the oath; the record frames her as “the first Taiwan-born Female Senator in California History” (TJJ full-text record, 2024-02-21 snapshot).
  • 2025-03-17 — TJJ tag archive 「Ling Ling Chang」 captured with “No posts to display” — the tag had been emptied by that snapshot, so tag-page coverage of her is only via the 2024 category snapshots; no new headline facts there (TJJ tag snapshot, 2025-03-17).

Corpus re-grep 2026-09-22: same hits (Who’s Who #1016, both in-CA/CA work records, TJJ English-Pages snapshots incl. 2023-12-08 tag page); 張齡玲 vs 張玲玲 HOLD stands, nothing new.
