Role in the Community

  • HOLD: conflict in source tenure data — the accomplishment line gives Academia Sinica Institute of Physics directorship as “2002-2004, 2016-2012” (second range reversed/implausible) while the employment table gives “Director (2002-)“. Not auto-merged.

  • 2025-05-18 — Cited in a KMT press conference on academic-misconduct and research-funding issues: allegation that, as 國科會主委, he allocated NT$500M in research funds to his own institute (TJJ, 2025-05-18; opposition allegation, not adjudicated).
  • Corpus mentions are limited to his two own-record pages and the two TJJ press records above — no memoir mentions of 吳茂昆 in content/works.
