At the 2nd Taiwanese American Film Festival convention she was featured on the panel “Taiwanese and Taiwanese-American Filmmakers: Sharing Stories of Parent-Daughter Relationships” (with Jessie Lee and Remii Huang); her film “My Mom’s Wedding” was an audience-award winner at the inaugural 2017 festival, and she contributed her story by video as a Taiwan-based director: NATWA 2nd convention program.

Absorbed from the NATWA convention record (natwa2con, 2018-03-16): began living on her own as a teenager and joined Taipei’s avant-garde theater scene, writing, directing and starring in plays; member of Critical Point Theater and founder of The Door Theater in 1996. Lived in Brooklyn, New York 2008–2012, making short films and directing a small-theater piece for the Brick Theater; moved back to Taipei in 2012. Her short film Midnight Dance screened at the Asian American International Film Festival and the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival; My Mom’s Wedding also received a special award from Women Make Waves Film Festival Taiwan; she was preparing her first feature “Mickey on the Road” as of 2018.
