  • Community memoir of the 東田納西台灣同鄉會 founding (張惠雄, 09/2017) records 高民環 as one of five UT students — 高民環、汪雅煌、陳耀宗、林正惠、李明輝 — who drove the 1974–75 push to form an independent, mother-tongue-speaking 台灣同鄉會 at the University of Tennessee in the white-terror era; the founding assembly drew 50–60 同鄉 on Thanksgiving Day 1975 at UT’s Baptist Student Center.
