Vault Holdings

Deepen 2026-09-14 (vault-only)

  • Directory record: [[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/whos-who-1792-chien-fu-wu||TAH #1792]] was published 2017-07-27; the vault copy is a bibliographic (band B) record, so the substance below is absorbed from this page’s own TAH education/employment tables.
  • Career path: B.S. Mathematics, National Taiwan Univ. (1971) → Ph.D. Statistics, UC Berkeley (1976) → Berkeley instructor, Dept. of Statistics (1976–1977) → Univ. of Wisconsin Statistics Dept., assistant → associate → full professor (1977–1988) → GM/NSERC Chair in Quality and Productivity, Univ. of Waterloo (1988–1993) → H. C. Carver Professor of Statistics and Professor of Industrial and Operations Engineering, Univ. of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1993–2003) → Coca-Cola Chair in Engineering Statistics and Professor, Georgia Institute of Technology.
  • Link hygiene: none of these institutions has a vault page — the Georgia Tech / Michigan / Berkeley slugs on disk are student- and alumni-association pages, not universities — so no links were added.
  • Corpus check 2026-09-14 (SKIP): grep across works/ + articles/ matches only this person’s own directory record [[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/whos-who-1792-chien-fu-wu|TAH #1792]] and the works/index.md listing — no memoir mentions, nothing absorbable beyond the existing TAH tables.
