From the NATPA founding memoir (創會首十年紀事) preserved in our corpus at Our Journeys 69 — NATPA 創會紀事 (EN: Our Journeys 69 (EN)):

  • 1980-02-16 — one of the 16 founding professors at the first NATPA preparatory meeting at the University of Chicago international dorm, alongside 張錦哲, 張旭成, 陳炳杞, 黃員成, 黃金來, 賴義雄, 林靜竹, 商文義, 蔡嘉寅, 伍焜玉 and others (roster corrected 2026-09-24 against the memoir’s attendee list, which also names 陳黃義敏, 吳得民, 楊勝亮, 嚴文亮).
  • 1981-07-02–05 — elected NATPA Midwestern Regional Director at the annual meeting held jointly with the Taiwanese American Conference–East Coast summer camp; the new board elected 蔡嘉寅 as the second president.
  • His TAH encyclopedia profiles are in-corpus at [[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/40-prof-chin-teh-sun|TAH #40]] and [[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/whos-who-737-chin-teh-sun|TAH #737]].
