As sitting president of the World Taiwanese Association (世台會) and named on the regime’s overseas blacklist, Lee smuggled himself back to Taiwan on 1989-08-11, appearing at the association’s annual meeting in Kaohsiung together with vice-president 蔡銘祿 and 台獨聯盟 central committee member 蔡正隆, and marching with locals in the demand to abolish the blacklist — recorded in the corpus as 世台會’s most impactful on-island action ([[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/ourjourneys230|Our Journeys #230]]).
  • 2025 Ukraine/Russia commentary.
