Role in the Community
- Her own TAH encyclopedia entry is held as a work record — 2015-05.
- Signed the Pew-recorded North American Taiwanese Women’s Association (北台美人婦女會) community statement as “Sue Chen, North America Taiwanese Women’s Association” — one of the named organization representatives on the statement. See Pew 台美人團體聲明. (The same statement also lists a “Sue Cheng” among individual signers — surname romanization differs; not merged.)
- HOLD: conflict 陳禹辛 vs 廖淑清 — the TAF/MFCF founding-history memoirs (33. TAF history (EN), 33. TAF history (中)) name a “Sue Chen (廖淑清)” among MFCF founding members (circa-1990 photo front row; credited with junior arts/music programs alongside Carol Cho 林秋菊). The corpus glosses that Sue Chen as 廖淑清, not 陳禹辛 — likely a different person; not auto-merged pending verification.
- Strengthening the disambiguation (2026-10-08, deepen-x 10062334-5): 廖淑清 is independently attested in the corpus as its own person — she authored 2016-10 (her own TAF summer-camp memoir), and Yang Yuan-hsun’s (楊遠薰) TAF history for 卓甫良 names 廖淑清 alongside 林秋菊、廖幸瑛 as long-term volunteer mothers (‘當年，林秋菊、廖淑清、廖幸瑛等許多太太們都是長期的義工’) — see 卓甫良與TAF的故事 (楊遠薰). Two distinct corpus trails for 廖淑清 vs the 陳禹辛 TAH record; HOLD stands, now better evidenced.
- 2026-09-22 corpus re-check (deepen-x slice 21): grep 陳禹辛/Sue Chen returns only already-absorbed records (own #427 entry, ourjourneys33 EN/中 MFCF founding photo, Pew statement signer list) — HOLD 陳禹辛 vs 廖淑清 unchanged, nothing new absorbable.
- 2026-09-23 corpus re-check (deepen-x slice 09221400-19): grep unchanged (own #427 entry, ourjourneys33 EN/中, Pew statement, works index) — HOLD unchanged, nothing new absorbable.
- 2026-09-24 corpus re-check (deepen-x slice 09230900-11): grep unchanged (own #427 entry, ourjourneys33 EN/中, Pew statement, works index) — HOLD 陳禹辛 vs 廖淑清 unchanged, verified-saturated.
- 2026-09-25 corpus re-check (deepen-x slice 09240900-8): grep unchanged (own #427 entry, ourjourneys33 EN/中, Pew statement, works index) — HOLD 陳禹辛 vs 廖淑清 unchanged, verified-saturated.
