Identity Snapshot

  • English: —
  • Also seen: “Wang Kang-hou” in the old boilerplate is not in TAH #375. That URL is Chinese only. Not copied. Kang-Lu Wang is 王康陸, a different man.
  • Chinese:
  • Era: 1932
  • Geography:
  • Core roles: Taiwanese American (TAH Who’s Who)
  • Source: TAH Foundation Who’s Who

王康厚 is listed in the TAH Foundation Who’s Who. The archive title is Chinese only. Do not read a parenthetical English here as his name.

Role in the Community

(Kang-Lu Wang Memorial Foundation), named for Kang-Lu Wang; the foundation is cited in the Taiwan Justice International News obituary record for 吳明基教授. See TJJ record, 2024-02-21.
  • Oral-history subject, with 王康德, of the 王永宗家族敘事 family narrative recorded 2023-08. See 1372.
  • Who’s Who entry: 04. His foundation has its own encyclopedia record: 3. Dr. Kang-Lu Wang Memorial Foundation 王康陸博士紀念基金會, and the foundation appears in the 2019 joint statement’s organizing-body list (Our Journeys 356 (EN)).
  • The foundation’s namesake 王康陸 has his own records in the corpus: 63. Kang-Lu Wang 王康陸 and memorial photo album 26. In memory of Dr. Kang-Lu Wang 王康陸博士生命禮讚 — neither text names 王康厚 directly, so the kinship degree to the namesake is unknown (兄弟 inferred from the shared 王永宗家族 narrative in #1372; not stated).
  • Corpus re-verify (deepen-x 09221200-9, 2026-09-23): fresh scan works/ + articles/ — new hit taiwanese-american-heritage-week absorbed above; other hits (375 entry, 1372 narrative, TJJ obituary record) already linked.
  • Corpus re-verify (deepen-x 09230600-8, 2026-09-24): fresh scan works/+articles/「王康厚／Kang-Lu Wang」— hit set unchanged (375 entry, 63 + photo album 26 namesake records, foundation page, Our Journeys 356, 1372 narrative, TJJ obituary record), all absorbed above. Verified-saturated.
  • Corpus re-verify (deepen-x 10102129-24, 2026-10-11): fresh scan works/ + articles/ + sources/ + events/ + topics/「王康厚／Kang-hou Wang／Kang-hou」— hit set unchanged (375 entry, 1372 narrative, TJJ 53455d7e signatory record, sources index, works/index), all already linked above. Verified-saturated.
  • HOLD: conflict in the Who’s Who snapshot Era 1932 (彰化鹿港 origin year) vs. the corpus’s earliest record dated 2015/04 — birth year not corroborated by any memoir text; do not merge.
