First pastor of the Washington-area Taiwanese Christian fellowship that became 華府基督長老教會 (per the church’s 三十年特刊 11/2003, cited in 03).
His daughter’s memoir 2016 (band A) records that in 1973–74 he presided over the first Bible studies and weekly Sunday services at the Chen home in Camp Springs, MD (~20 attendees) — the nucleus of the church now in Derwood, MD (built 2012).
The memoir recalls his 1940s interim ministry at Sin-Tiam (新店教會), hosting members who walked four-hour mountain trails for lunch after service — consistent with the 1940–1946 新店教會 pastor entry above. Author En Chin Chen is daughter 蕭永真.
