1955年生於台灣桃園，畢業於德國柏林藝術大學研究所。創作媒材範圍廣泛，包括版畫、油彩、水墨、影像，以及裝置藝術。作品以抽象中帶著意象的創作風格受各界注目，體現藝術家所欲探索的藝術精神-人與周遭人、事、物自然精神相契合。對於池農深來說，藝術是個人修行的過程與記錄，昔日創作重視自我情感的抒發，現階段希望帶入社群分享的概念，將藝術的美好能量分享給所有人。除藝術創作外，池農深亦在國外擔任雜誌藝術指導、舞台設計、版畫教師、雜誌作家、公共藝術創作，並且拍攝紀錄片。2003年製作拍攝的《葉蕾蕾傳奇》紀錄片，榮獲第51屆哥倫布國際電影電視節銅牌獎。從事創作三十多年，相關展覽、繪畫、文字、影像作品無數，多件作品由國外美術館以及公共機構收藏。
