FAPA 明州分會： 1982年蔡同榮以 FAPA 總會會長身分來訪時，楊日信組織 FAPA 明州分會（123. 明州台美人百年大事／曾啟明 1982 年記事）。

萬國節（Festival of Nations）台灣攤設計團隊： 與妻子陳玲琇為文化展設計團隊核心，自 1987 年台灣攤獲評比分術第一名起「年年熱衷於此，樂此不疲」；1990 年起陳秀芳、曾啟明、賴瑞宏、張麗惠夫婦、王明基等陸續加入，成為「死黨」團隊（15. 點滴回顧明州文化展／吳朱實）。

1990 年花轎（主題「婚禮」）： 蔡友仁製圖、楊日信造轎——與劉文雄在其車庫將平面設計建成立體結構，並主導輕巧堅固的結構設計；該轎於 1992、1999 年兩度 reuse，被吳朱實稱為「空前的傑作」（322. 花轎記／劉進興、點滴回顧明州文化展）。陳玲琇繡製雙鳳門簾。
