How Echopedia crafts media
We do not answer to a blank prompt. We infer each piece from who it is for, reading the Echopedia page the go-line names and building from there. This is a behind-the-curtains look at that reasoning.
Creative, not verified history. 據這些事實以 AI 創作,屬藝術詮釋而非查證之史實.
The context ladder
We climb a ladder, using only what the page and go-line actually carry:
- The named page — the person, church, or event the go-line points to.
- Family / related people, as linked — we only follow links the page actually makes. We do not invent relatives.
- Era — only if cited — a decade or year that the page explicitly states.
- Occasion — what the go-line is for (a birthday, a memorial, a gathering).
- Language tokens —
taigi/ 台語 / 台羅, or otherwise English.
If a rung is missing, we stop there. We do not fabricate the next one.
What we make now — and what comes later
- Music, today. With lyrics (a song) or without lyrics (an instrumental).
- Image / video — a later wave, not this one.
Language
taigi/ 台語 / 台羅 → a native 台語歌 (漢字 singer, with a Tâi-lô follow-along). Otherwise English — unless the go-line says otherwise.- We never translate English lyrics into 台語, and we never sing Tâi-lô as English syllables.
Names, ages, and family — we hold the line
We do not invent ages or relatives. If the page has no birth year, we do not guess. Family names are held exactly as the vault writes them.
Audience
If children are listed without ages, we write a warm multi-generational piece — not a toddler jingle, not an adult club track.
Connections (how links shape a sound)
We read this page’s family, related people/orgs, and tags:
- A link to a composer, singer, or church is a style hint — nothing more.
- We do not treat a shared surname as a musical lineage.
- We do not flatten “PCT family” into “this person is clergy.”
A shared name is not a chord.
Worked examples
True vault facts only. We add no biography the page does not hold.
- Go-line family music for Leonard Hsu Jr. / 許景鴻 → TAHS, Echopedia, SoCal, Phoenix, Lennix, Leon. EN vocal, acoustic / warm. No Tyzen skew unless the page actually links 蕭泰然.
- A page that wikilinks |蕭泰然 → piano / neo-romantic / sacred + homeland guidance — still not “we composed 台灣翠青.”
- A page tagged pastor / minister → hymn / choir / piano defaults, then age or era only if cited.
- A page tagged singer (e.g. |許景淳) → vocal-forward ballad; a church household is the mechanism, not a clergy office.
What we will not do
- Photoreal deepfakes of a real person.
- An EN→Taigi calque — mechanically translating English words into 台語.
- Singing Tâi-lô as English syllables.
- Replacing a live full 台語歌 without a GO.
- Inventing a named pew. (Tyzen / Amy Lin: SoCal home congregation not found.)
A note on tags
On the album we show a single tag line as a natural sentence — “Taiwanese folk / acoustic / male vocal” — never the raw comma list.
