Role in the Community

  • Listed as a group member of the |Taiwan Center Foundation of the Greater Los Angeles (official group-members listing).
  • TAHS holds three community records of the alumni body: the 2014 record 旅美高雄中學校友會 (2014-10-12), the 2015 Southern California record 南加州雄中雄女聯合校友會 (2015-02-15), and the 2018 e-newsletter record KHSAA (雄中雄女聯合校友會) (2018-02-20).
  • Corpus memoir ourjourneys283 places a 高雄中學 alumnus (吳瑞信) among the LA hosts for the blacklist-era US speaking tour of 黃春明 (arranged via 全美會) — an alumni-network anecdote; individual chapter membership not asserted.
  • HOLD: naming variant — Taiwan Center listing uses 北美洲高雄中學高雄女中聯合校友會; the 2014 TAHS record titles the body 旅美高雄中學校友會. Never auto-merged; both names recorded as attested.
  • Co-initiating organization (共同發起單位) of the 2021-05-13 Southern California Chinese-community joint statement supporting Taiwan’s participation in the WHA, listed as 南加州雄中雄女校友會 — corpus record 2021年南加州僑界支持台灣參與WHA聯合聲明. Event-level SoCal chapter activity, consistent with the 2015 南加州 record above. The statement also circulates as a 2025 repost of the same write-up (articles/taiwanjustice-net/2025/20251108183438_…_80c0a825a7a661b6.md) — same record, no new facts.
