The Taiwanese American CPA Association (TACPA) is a professional organization founded in 1992 in Los Angeles by Charles Chiang, CPA, and a group of Taiwanese American CPAs. It encourages members to share professional tax knowledge and provide cross-state tax services to mutual clients. The TACPA holds at least one annual tax forum and periodically hosts interactive forums in Taiwan with the Taiwan CPA Association and Taiwan Government to offer constructive suggestions on Taiwan’s tax systems. In 2011, Taiwanese Canadian CPAs joined the organization, expanding its membership across North America to address cross-border tax issues between the USA and Canada. The TACPA currently has approximately 60 active members across various states and provinces.

Activities in the Community Record

TAH’s organization directory preserves two records on TACPA: 15. Taiwanese American CPA Association, TACPA 台美會計師協會 (published 2015-12-20, in the same directory series as TAPS, NATEA, and FAPA chapters) and Taiwanese American CPA Association (TACPA) 台美會計師協會 (published 2019-01-30, an organization-activities entry). Both are bibliographic records (band B); they confirm TACPA’s standing among the Taiwanese American professional associations documented by TAH. Corpus re-grep 2026-09-18 (slice 09170600-22), 2026-09-20 (slice 09190400-8), 2026-09-21 (slice 09201500-27) and 2026-09-22 (slice 09211507-1): hit set unchanged (own directory records [[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/tacpa|TAH directory #15]] and 2019 activities entry, plus the works index) — no memoir material absorbable.
