集作曲家，鋼琴家，指揮家一身的吳英俊，台灣高雄人。1989年曾入芝加哥音樂學院主修鋼琴演奏隨波蘭籍簫邦專家Dr. PaulHencinaky 教授專研浪漫派演奏法後進入Azusa Pacific大學音樂研究所獲音樂碩士﹐主修管絃﹐合唱﹐指揮理論作曲等獲音樂碩士。 出名的音樂家蕭泰然先生也在吳英俊即將出版的敬拜讚美曲新書寫序文芈芈他說「吳英俊是我極力欣賞與肯定的﹐他畢業於台灣神學院音樂系﹐受過神學與音樂的教育訓練﹐因此打下教會音樂優良的古典基礎。」他的作品不僅在鋼琴曲方面有深度的寫作﹐在其他台灣現代樂的作品也有相當多元化的著作。例如:台灣現代藝術﹐台語獨唱﹐合唱﹐弦樂小提琴…等等﹐這些作品都是他在音樂教學與教會服事外的時間﹐點點滴滴累積而成﹐是一位相當用功﹐且對推展台灣現代音樂有理想和使命的作曲家。吳英俊不僅尋找故鄉文化的根﹐亦可在他的作品裡找到愛故鄉泥土的心意。
