Credit-union founding: per 周實’s memoir 「曇花一現的南加信用合作社」 (Our Journeys 244), 曾輝光 attended the first SCTFCU (南加州台灣人聯邦信用合作社) organizing meeting (1977-07-24, ~14 同鄉 present) and served as secretary (秘書) on its founding board. The initiative was launched while 周實 was 洛杉磯台灣同鄉會會長 (1977): he seeded the idea via three articles in 「洛台鄉訊」 (issues 5–7) plus 莊承業’s 「介紹德州台灣信用合作社」; the name SCTFCU was proposed unanimously at that first meeting, 周實 was elected 臨時召集人 (office in 喜瑞都/Cerritos), and the organising chain ran through a Cal-CU-League-advised third meeting (9/16, adviser Kent Britton) and a fourth picnic-format meeting (10/22, Barnes Park, Monterey Park-area) before incorporation via a Japanese-American lawyer. 曾輝光’s secretary role was on the founding 理事 board alongside 社長 莊洸雄, 副社長 王喜雄, and 財務 陳銓仁.
