Role in the Community

Dr. Chen’s community footprint runs through TAHS and the TAH Foundation Who’s Who corpus rather than movement organizing. His 2017 TAHS Publication self-profile (Part 2) is the primary biographical source on this page, with the editor’s note rating self-profiles (Martha VanDriel, 陳宏傑, 黃愷怡, 吳瑞椿) as higher factual reliability for personal details — see |2017 TAHS Publication.

Corpus records naming him:

  • 217. Dr. Jack J. Chen 陳宏傑教授 — 2019-01-10 (TAH Who’s Who profile)

  • 642. Dr. Jack J. Chen 陳宏傑教授 — 2015-09-29 (same profile, earlier capture)

  • 2182. Jack Chen — 2019-05-04 (name-form record; same person as 217/642)

  • 生活 — 2015-09-23 (his 1997 Life/生活 magazine article on Parkinson’s disease, an early public-facing piece on his neurology pharmacotherapy work)

  • HOLD: Marshall B. Ketchum University start date — this page says 2014–present; the sibling page Dr. Jack J. Chen records Professor and Department Chair from 2015. Never auto-merged. Supporting evidence (2026-10-12 pass): the 2017 TAHS Publication 編按 (editor’s note, priority-A self-profile apparatus) states explicitly 「2014 年,Dr. Chen 被 The Marshall B. Ketchum University 的药學院聘為正教授,並主持一個講座」 — corroborates the 2014 date on this page; sibling page’s 2015 remains unreconciled pending steward review.

  • Note: records 2019 and 272. Jack Chen name a different Jack Chen — the Harvard/Law engineer-entrepreneur organizer of Tandem Team Sea to See, documented at Jack Chen. Not attributed to this page.

  • Father: |Jeff Chen 陳哲夫 (1937–1995), per the sibling Who’s Who page.
