呂信也先生，台灣桃園人，音樂家、畫家，是台灣音樂家呂泉生教授的公子。出生於音樂世家的呂信也，自幼追隨母親蕭美霓女士學習鋼琴，又得到父親呂泉生教授修習樂理，並師事楊春火老師學習小提琴。一九六0年，他在鄧昌國老師指導下，進入現在的國立藝術學院就讀。一九六四年，他獲得國際婦女會主辦的第一屆小提琴比赛首獎，並於一九六六年以全額獎學金進入美國Peabody音樂學院就讀。呂信也曾獲得美國天主教大學音樂博士班全額獎學金以及Santa Barbara Music Academy of the West Summer School全額獎學金。一九七0年，他考到國家芭蕾舞交響樂團，一年後以精湛的琴藝考進索納迪藝術中心歌劇院交響樂團，擔任第一小提琴手，並展開長達二十五年的演奏生涯。他現居加州洛杉磯，專事小提琴教授，並積極傳授所學，培育下一代之音樂人才。
