Role in the Community
- Profiled in the TAH encyclopedia: 03 (2017-03-23).
- Son of aerospace engineer 謝清志 (Xie Qingzhi); the family record in the TAHS 2023 publication names him as the medical-generation heir of the family’s service tradition: Xie Qingzhi & Xie Poyi (謝清志、謝泊怡).
- Mentioned in the 生活座談會 community-history memoir (band A): 2016 — via his father 謝清志, a 南區生活座談會 member.
- Father’s movement record (corpus, 2026-10-08). Perry carries the family’s service tradition through his father 謝清志 (Dr. Ching Sze Hsieh), who appears across the memoir corpus in his own right: participant in the 1990 U.S. Census Joint Committee of nineteen (incl. 謝清志) in 2016; a founding-prep member of the Southern California Taiwanese Federal Credit Union (1977–78) in 2016; and leading 23 aerospace-PhD returnees whose findings redirected 台翔 toward aircraft maintenance in 2016. He authored 2014 himself. His biography: 131. 謝清志的生命振動 (傳記, 2008) and 108. Ching Sze Hsieh 謝清志. Perry himself is named only in the ourjourneys212 record and the 2023 TAHS publication roster — these father-side records contextualize, but do not replace, his own profile.
