Ching Sze Hsieh (謝清志; also Xie Qingzhi) is a Taiwanese American aerospace engineer, and Perry B. Shieh (謝泊怡; also Xie Poyi) is a Taiwanese American medical doctor. Together with Xie’s wife Cai Shumin (a nutrition specialist), they represent a family of professional achievement and deep commitment to Taiwan.

Overview

The Xie family represents three generations of professional achievement and unwavering commitment to Taiwan. Dr. Xie Qingzhi, an aerospace expert who worked for Rockwell International and NASA’s Aerospace Corporation, made the significant sacrifice of returning to Taiwan in 1995 to contribute to the country’s space program. His son, Dr. Xie Poyi, is a medical specialist who continues the family’s tradition of service.
