Reprint essay

The piece is titled 〈介紹你「邁向希望的社群」——實踐神學的宣教使命〉. It treats the book as mission theology as well as a history of the first North American Taiwanese church. It names early Los Angeles coworkers 張瑞雄, 李宗派, and 許文彬, and 高昭龍 as organizing pastor. It also explains the choice of the name Formosan.
