The Taiwanese American Association Mid-Peninsula Taiwanese (北加州 中半島台灣同鄉會), commonly known as the Mid-Peninsula Taiwanese Association (MPTA), is a regional chapter of the Taiwanese Association of America (TAA, 全美台灣同鄉會), the national umbrella organization for Taiwanese American community associations in the United States. The chapter serves the Mid-Peninsula area of the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California, the corridor of communities along the San Francisco Peninsula between the city of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. The chapter is listed under the TAA Western Region (美西) on the national TAA directory. MPTA is also a member association of the Taiwanese American Federation of Northern California (TAFNC, 北加州台灣同鄉聯合會), a regional federation that coordinates activities among major Taiwanese American organizations in the Bay Area.

- The corpus memoir 2020-08 records that 北加州臺灣同鄉組織聯合會 (today’s 北加州台灣同鄉聯合會, TAFNC) was founded in the SF Bay Area on 1973-09-22 by seven bodies — the 南灣、東南灣、東灣、舊金山 Taiwanese associations, two Taiwanese Christian fellowship groups, and 台灣協志會 — and that the newly-formed 中半島臺灣同鄉會 (MPTA), 長輩會, and 婦女會 joined only afterward. MPTA’s chapter membership therefore post-dates the federation’s founding.
