The Taiwanese Scholar Association in St. Louis (TSA-STL) is a community organization centered on Taiwanese Americans in the greater St. Louis area. It organizes monthly activities and an annual symposium to serve the local Taiwanese community and to help scholars and students translate specialized knowledge into accessible, everyday science and technology applications. The association serves as a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across organizations, generations of immigrants, and between established community members and younger scholars. Since its founding in 2013, TSA-STL has grown steadily while navigating challenges of generational transition and organizational sustainability. The association aligns its work with the spirit of UN Sustainable Development Goal 17.6 — advancing science, technology, and innovation through knowledge-sharing and cooperation.
