The fellowship joined the mainline Presbyterian Church (USA) and was incorporated as a nonprofit church in May 1982. As a board member (幹事) she was the delegate sent to Taiwan to interview and invite Rev. Chun-Ming Lai (賴俊明) as founding pastor; he arrived in St. Louis in November 1984. Her own 2017 history of the church, 美國聖路易台灣人基督長老教會的歷史簡略, is the primary source for this account.
