- 2001-02-10 — Performed the same concerto with the Akron Symphony Orchestra (conductor Ya-Hui Wang 王雅蕙) at E. J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, Akron, Ohio, before 400+ Taiwanese audience members — described by 林衡哲 as the first overseas concert where conductor, soloist, and composer were all Taiwanese. Per [[works/taiwaneseamericanhistory-org/ourjourneys294|Our Journeys #294]].
